Park Square 2

Conifer, with their construction partner LeChase, is briskly installing the facade on the new apartment building that is part of Park Square 2. The Architecture Team out of Boston provided the design and Marathon locally was responsible for civil engineering. The 40 unit, 55,000sf building replaces an apartment building onsite demolished 3 years ago. Somewhat uniquely, all 40 units are 2 bedroom apartments.

Like most new buildings downtown, this one addresses the sidewalk appropriately on both street facing sides with a significant improvement to the treatment of the intersection. The facade articulation also does a reasonable job of helping the building appear somewhat taller than it is. The orange accents were selected to match the prior work done to the Manhattan Square Apartments and the current work being done to Midtown Manor as part of this project.

Expected completion of the new building at Park Square 2 is this November. Leasing has not yet begun.
