The Neisner
Riedman has nearly completed their conversion of the old Neisner Department Store offices at 49 East Avenue into 52 apartments. Named The Neisner for obvious reasons, the project is leasing now, even as they are finishing the new park at the corner of East and Chestnut. Riedman’s offices remain next door in 45 East Ave, though this building’s leasing and mail rooms are there now too.
Like other recent conversions, this building is amenity rich, with a lounge, co-working spaces, a fitness center, and a dog spa to go with gated parking on site. Additionally, every apartment has in-unit laundry and premium finishes.
Comprehensive architectural services, including landscape and civil engineering for the project were provided by SWBR. Construction was managed by Riedman themselves, and financing was by Community Bank.
Having tackled this building, Riedman’s next downtown project will be the conversion of the upper floors of 10 Clinton Square to residential.
